Business Impact
Station 6 developed a clearer and more recognizable digital identity built around what already made the restaurant successful: fresh local seafood, inventive cooking, neighborhood hospitality, and an experience guests wanted to return to.
The strategy helped introduce the restaurant to new audiences while giving existing guests more reasons to visit through specials, Oyster Happy Hour, private events, seasonal dishes, and staff-led recommendations.
Management has also reported a significant increase in business since the strategy was implemented. That commercial impact has not yet been quantified, so it is not included as a formal performance claim here.
The result was not simply greater reach. It was a stronger connection between Station 6’s positioning, its programming, and the reasons people choose to visit.
The Challenge
Station 6 had already earned a loyal following over 15 years. Guests knew it for fresh local seafood, creative chef-driven dishes, and the kind of warm neighborhood atmosphere that turns first-time visitors into regulars.
The opportunity was to communicate that value to a wider audience.
The goal was not to change what Station 6 was. It was to show more people why those who discovered it kept coming back, while using content and programming to support slower service periods, promote high-value offerings, and generate new reasons to visit.
The Strategy
We positioned Station 6 as more than another seafood restaurant.
The content strategy focused on the qualities that made it distinct:
Fresh Gulf seafood and visible product quality
Creative dishes that went beyond familiar seafood standards
Chef recommendations and seasonal specials
A polished but comfortable neighborhood atmosphere
The history and loyalty built over 15 years
The appeal of a local hidden gem worth crossing the city to discover
Rather than relying on generic food posts, the strategy consistently connected individual dishes to a broader story about freshness, creativity, hospitality, and place.
Strategic Execution
The ongoing work included:
Brand positioning and content strategy
Editorial food, beverage, and atmosphere photography
Short-form video and kitchen process content
Chef and staff recommendations
Seasonal special promotion
Private-event marketing and on-site content coverage
Social media management and community engagement
Story links and direct calls to action
Campaign planning around slower service periods
Collaboration with management on programming and promotions
A key initiative was helping develop and promote Station 6’s Oyster Happy Hour.
The offer was designed to create a clear reason to visit during slower weekday hours, pairing a dozen oysters with discounted wine and frozen drinks. Content then reinforced the value, atmosphere, and natural pairing of the experience rather than presenting it as a simple discount.
As Station 6 continues as a valuable client we continue the strategy while adapting to times and continuing growth.
