Bar Revelry, an upscale dive.
When we started this project, Montana restauranteur Tommy, took a step out of the upscale restaurant industry and came to us to design a bar centric concept. It didn’t take much market research to find the “modern speak easy” gastropub cocktail bar has been entirely over done in the past few years. We designed Bar Revelry. The Webster definition of revelry is: noisy partying and merrymaking. It embodies the unique identity we designed and positioned Bar Revelry as an upscale dive bar. With a dive bar feel, simple but sophisticated drinks and food while tying in the upscale ambiance and decor. We designed a bar that appears unglamorous on the outside but will make you say “well damn..” upon entering. We designed a hand drawn elegant logo type, bold colors, and tied in Tommy’s usual upscale ambiance into a relaxed, laid back dive bar.
